This is a story about the "Blademaster", Mutsabi, and his apprentice Hai Shung. Anyone can add on to the story. And stuff. Yeah.
| | | | | | | The story begins in the quiet town of Hitoku. Mutsabi Shiroko, also known as the Blademaster, is training his aprentice Hai Shung in the art of the Ninja. The two are sparring with blunt swords. Mutsabi parries all of Hai Shung's blows, and then, bringing the sword up unexpectedly, his blade stops a millimeter away from Shung's throat. "You need to learn to block, Hai Shung," he says. "I believe that's enough for today. You need your rest for tomorrow's training. I will have something special to show you." Hai Shung walks towards a large log, which he had set his bag next to earlier. Strangely, there was another bag lying next to the log. Trying to remember, he slowly picks up the bag on the left and brings it across town to his home. Shung chats with his father for a few and then sits down at the table for dinner. They had just finished their rice when a black streak comes through the door. It stops at the table, and Hai Shung sees that it is a figure dressed all in black. The person has a strange red symbol on his belt. He takes out his sword. Then, three bright silvery flashes, and the mysterious figure leaps through the window. The black-cloaked person disappears into the night. "Are you hurt?" Shung's father asks. "No," Hai Shung answers. "But the bag I brought home is cut into pieces. I think that guy stole whatever was inside. And this isn't my bag." [ 06-12-2003, 06:15 PM: Message edited by: Willard ]

OOC>>> Just thought to post on, not going to be a permanent member so please continue.
His alert mind races against his feet as he makes his way towards his destination. He was certainly not as poorly skilled as I had been led to believe... What was it about that gaze that had disturbed him? The belt! Of course... Abruptly, he halts, spinning around to check that he is not being followed. Then hastily draws a dagger and cuts his outer belt; it falls onto the ground. This should give him plenty to think about. Smirking, he turns to a new direction, his keen eyes scanning the familiar darkness. How many times has he gone through this task mentally? Ah... that it is. Taking a deep breath he flings himself into the icy river and begins on his swim, his right fist clenching the bag tightly. The benevolent moon sighs as the impish clouds veil her gentle beam. I wonder what is in that bag... |
