Heh high everyone...this is my 1st visit to the RP forum...and i'm totally lost. Attalus said i might enjoy it, so i took his word for it

So, could someone run by the stuff here? Like what OOC and IC mean....and how you jump into a game(is that allowed?)...ya...thanks guys

Welcome to the roleplaying boards.

The best way to enter a game is probably to just take a little time to skim the various threads and then PM the person who started the thread you're interested in joining. Most of the threads here are, I believe, open to new participants. Usually the first post in a thread will indicate whether it is open or closed and what the basic rules of the thread are.

The abbreviation 'ooc' is used to indicate when someone is speaking ''out of character'.

Similarly, 'ic' means 'in character' speech.

Once again, welcome.

Thanks Cyril! The OOC is like Eq, i get it now

. Attalus suggested the 'Hazardous Times' game, and i've checked it out. Cerek was the one who started it right? I'll PM him then! Thanks!

Hi, LB, welcome to RP. Mistral is really the thread-master but Cerek started that thread. We all have started the thread at one time or another.(It is on thread number 11!) I know that you would be welcome.
