Still Lost(All welcome, but we've got many, so not too many new players, please.)

(OOC: Okay, the party consisting of Seph(Mui), Lioness(Sherai), Neb(Khalist), Talthyr(Karzheik), Regin(Urion), Beaumanoir(Derikan), Jerome(Rogal) and Tiamat(Tiamat) are at the moment lost in another place.

They're standing outside the open gates of a large temple cut into the side of a valley, a long torch-lined corridor awaits inside....

Before getting here they faced a bunch of ghouls and an undead beholder.

EDIT: I'm the DM and when I'm not around Seph is, Seph may appoint another temporary DM if neither he or I will be around for quite some time.)

Khalist looks uneasily down the long corridor, "Should we enter? Or should we look for another way around?"

A long wailing moan echoes down the corridor, "Sounds as though there's something inside there...."

All that comes at me will burn....... He unsheaths his sword with great ease...... then a a fiery blaze makes the blade a fire sword with great magnificence. This is also a light source. I am prepared for anything....

"Send me in to scout ahead, and I'll tell you if there even are any side routes."

"Alright, you can scout ahead Mui, but I'll come with you, just in case one of us dies the other can get back and warn the others."

Khalist turns to the rest of the group, "Mui and I will scout ahead, the rest of you keep behind us."

Mui and Khalist turn and enter the corridor, the rest of the party following a long distance behind, not too far inside the two forward scouts can see the tunnel widen into a large chamber, chanting can be heard as well.

(OOC: Main chamber of the temple up ahead, lot of cultists chanting and five corridors branching off, two to living quarters, one to prisons and the last two to unkown places.... Perhaps a way home... Or at least out of the valley.)

Mui blends in with the shadows of the tunnel and proceeds into the main chamber. He narrowly avoids bumping into one of the chanters, and makes his way around to one of the unknown tunnels. He signaled for Khalist to follow him, hoping to find a second way into the temple so that they could find out what was going on in depth.

OOC: How could you?? You forgot my character's oh so easy to remember name!!!!

IC: 'Don't be thinking I'm staying back here, I'm gonna get some action.'
'Saying this Karzheik walked as quietly as a dwarf could down the dark hallway, not too far behind Mui and Khalist.

Rogal followed behind the two figures in front, his worn leather boots cracking softly off of the cold stone of the passageway.

There was something that was causing tremors in the outermost reaches of the mage's mind. Even in his weakened state, he could still feel it's presence, and it's potency. His eyes glazed as he began to wander from the others.

Khalist and Mui reached a long damp tunnel, at the end of which they could see torchlight, they could feel the radiance of dark magic coming from the tunnel and they hestitated, wondering whether they should enter.

(OOC: Well.... I'm not sure if that'll be active enough.... But if you can keep up with things, then sure, why not, perhaps you could be some semi-active villain that only attacked during weekends and then teleported away [img]tongue.gif[/img] )
