I have (had) a full party doing the quests in the Underdark and 4 of my people got killed, including both clerics. Now I'm running around looking for a way to raise at least 1 cleric so that I can raise the rest of the party, but I can't find a way. I've been to all the shopkeepers I can find and also to the Temple of Lloth but no one has a raise dead spell.

Anyone have any suggestions ?

Thank you,
LadyLynx

Hmmmmm........

I know it's a bit late now, but for future reference I always make sure my main character is in possession of a rod of ressurection. There's one at the Adv. Mart, and you can pick another one up from somewhere else.

That way I know if the worst comes to the worst, I can raise my cleric myself.

Noober has a good suggestion there.

As for your current predicament... I think your in a fix here, as it is called. I don't believe that the Temple of Lolth offers the services the other temples do, like healing/resurrecting and the like. Maybe one of the merchants in the Bazaar does, but I wouldn't bet on it. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm afraid that reloading is the only option you have.

Yes, I tried deep gnome village. No temple there and the shopkeeper didn't have any help.

I may just start over, I believe I rushed things and got to this point at too low a level (about 11th). Even with all my defensive spells up an illithid can neutralize 4 of my party in 1 round.

Thanks for the help

You could use shadowkeeper to give yourself the rod of ressurection and upgrade your charecters, beware of the danger of making them gods, caution is good. Just use the exp tables to bring them up a few levels and change some items. Dont go ape and give everyone 25 in every stat, its tempting so be careful.

You could just CLUA a couple of raise dead scrolls into the game and then take the cheat out straight after if you so wish (then the temptation isn't there) - i believe the code is scrl63 - maybe that would get you out of the fix?

If you cheat in scrolls of Raise Dead, won't they be useless because only a Cleric (or Druid, or Paladin) can read them?

Hack in a Rod of Resurrection instead. (Be fair--Make sure it has only 10 charges!) Then once you're out of the Underdark, go to the Adventurer's Mart, see what he's charging for a Rod of Res., and just donate that much (+10 or 20%) to a temple of your choice.

if you have the cheats enabled, just put the pointer over the portrait, and press Ctrl "T", that should do the trick. if not, do Ctrl "R".

Fair Lady,

Despair not! For there is no need to ever confront those evil beasts in their lair itself. Should you wish to, you may do so at any time: you'll be allowed to return to the Underdark at any time you so choose during chapters six and seven.

It is in my estimation a boon to have rescued Imoen early. Your frail sister, snatched from the jaws of soulless death and desolation -- such a rescue can never be said to have been accomplished too early.

Should you need advice in escaping the Underdark, merely ask and you shall receive.
