The ultimate party (or not....)

My party is: Me (lv 14 Paladin), Keldorn(planning to trade him for Imoen)Minsc, Jaheira, Valygar & Nalia. I am kind of a newbie. I am in the Water city. Who should I trade?? And what items should I use. And where is the Girdle of Frost Giant Strength????

WELCOME!

Your party looks good, but you may switch Valygar with some spellcaster like Aerie.
Nalia is an ok thief, but you could have better, like Jan. (He may wont go so good along with your party, but just try.)

I agree, I had a very similar party
I had Imoen and Keldorn though
in exchange for Valygar and Nalia of yours.....

Imoen i took as she is part of the whole story of BG2 and goign to rescue her
Then Aerie is a mage....you need a good mage for sure but she also can heal which is good earlyish in the game

You have to fight 5 Demon Knights and one of them has the girdle. They serve Demogorgan. People might misinterpret your post and think that they have to fight several Demogorgans.

That would be fun... nahhhh.

U dont need 2 paladins- so dump keldorn...
Get Yoshimo, hes automatically replaced with Imoen in Spellhold... Due to cirsumstances which i wont reveal because they form a spoiler and i dont feel like putting a spoiler alert in this post wright now.
And yes, u already have a theif, but Nalia dueled from theif to mage at level 4...
This means her theif skills are not good at all.
