everywhere i look for the command line cheat it says this:
Cheats built into the Game First thing you will need to do is open up the file baldur.ini. its in the directory where you installed your Baldurs Gate 2 game. Once you find the file, open it up and you'll see a header called "[Program Options]", below it, add the following line: Debug Mode=1 but I dont know where to type the code do you put it in the read me? and also in the read me It says [program options] 2 TIMES and i dont know which one to put it under if you could show me what the paragraph would look like with the code in it would help |

Go to your \BG2\SoA directory and look for the baldur.ini file. You should add the line here just after [Program Options]. Don't add it in your readme file ... it does nothing.

Strange, did you try to cheat. Can you cheat? I dont really try or like to cheat. It takes away from the experience.

Look again, one of those says "Game Options". "Program Options" is at the top.

The prolbme might be that by efaukt, windows hides all extensions. THIS IS WRONG! and an example of why I hate microsoft. You have to go into the view menu and change it so it shows file extensions. and while your at it you may want to show hidden files as well.
It might be easier to use a dos editor, since dos always displays extensions. But I digress. One you have found (and by strong preference, backed up) the correct baldur.ini, add the given line in the section [program options], load the game and hit ctrl+space. The correct commands and codes are given here: http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/bald...2/cheats.shtml
