Install ToB along with BG2 ?

I know that installing ToTSC before your party is even strong enough to do any of the quests is still a good idea when you're playing BG because of the upgrades to gameplay(blue backgrounds for magical items and the like). Are there similiar reasons to go ahead and install ToB now even though I'm just getting ready to start SoA? Sorry if this is a silly question it's just that I've read so much information on these boards as of late(thank you all very much by the way)

that I thought I recalled someone posting and recommending not to do so. Then again, I could be mistaken. I do tend to be a little paranoid. Thanks in advance for your help...

Sure, it's beneficial for many reasons...

First, there's lots of little upgrades to game play that are good--better graphic for Mirror Image, and the use of the TAB button to highlight all chests, doors, etc. that you may not notice otherwise.

Also, the XP cap will be raised to that of ToB (8 mil I believe,) which is helpful considering you probably won't reach the max by playing through ToB from the XP max of SoA.

AND,

you won't need patches for BG2 coz it is already with ToB, and you also can play a new class which is the WILD MAGE

I agree install TOB. Make sure you get the patch for it though. If you do not have the special edition it gives you all of the cool new stuff. Plus fixes a couple of issues.

Definately get the patch for ToB. The damn thing refused to run and caused all sorts of trouble before I patched it.
