Need help in chapter 2

Hi

I just bought this game and I like it alot

My problem is, Nalia just got in my team and she needs help killing some orcs or something. This quest takes place in de'Arnise Hold, its on my world map.

But I cant travel there (its all greyed out and dont react when i put my mouse coursor over it!), I have tried all the "places" to travel from (slums, graveyard, city, bridge, tempel, docks)..But I just cant get there!

ANy one that can help me?

Your first overland travel must start from the Gate district in Athkatla. Go to (almost through) the city gate (your party will almost disappear behind the walls) and move the cursor very slowly in that area. The exact place where the cursor changes and travelling will become possible isn't easy to find but it is there. I had the same problem in my very first game, I remember quite well my "oh no a bug" feelings.

Thanks for the reply guys, but one more problem, the City gate there is much enemies that will attack me and when i kill them my rep goes down (its only 9 atm) and I cant afford that...But I will try and see what happens

Hmm.. If they attacked you without any provocation it mean they are bandits and you should not loose rep. But if they are Amn soldiers you loose rep, but it means that you started.
Btw in city gate area I dont remember any bandits, fights or whatever. Did you steal anything?

I never have to fight in the Gate district, at least not in the streets. There are random encounters while traveling. They occur in "areas between areas". You can check this by looking at your traveling symbol (the shield) on the world map. Is it stuck between two araes? Another quality of this no man's land areas is the impossibility to save.
What is the alignment of your PC, maybe you start with 9.
