Bows and Crossbows

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good bow and crossbow and where I can find them. I also have ToB if that helps.

there is a new crossbow in ToB (I took out the name cause it was a spoiler, sorry for the inconveinence). its great. as for bows, again, ToB created some nice ones (both long and short bows) lemme know if you want more on them. *scratch that, dont, i think i would be yelled at a bit too much*

PLEASE DON'T LIST ANY ToB WEAPONS IN THIS THREAD.

Do you want to know about Shortbows or Longbows? What class are you playing?

The Hearseeker would be my choice of Longbow. (Firkragg/Windspear) or the Adv' Mart later in the game.

the best one earliest in the game is light crossbow of speed, obtained from the copper coronet.

refrain from yelling please. i only mentioned the item because Gazza mentioned "I also have ToB". So, im trying to help. I was unaware that it was such a big deal.

as well, if you recall i mentioned no stats on the crossbow. just a name. i apologize for not stating it as a spoiler, that was my fault, and im sorry. i will exercise more discernment next time.

Yes it's a very big deal to those of us that don't want ToB SPOILERS. This is a BG2 forum, your post gave no warning of the fact that you were going to SPOIL an item for those of us that didn't want to know. Please refrain from listing ToB items in a BG2 forum.
