Melisan

I am stuck fighting Melisan, I killed her the first time, but i just can't do it the second time, she just summons so many bone fiends and shadow slayers, all my party dies. My party is
a paladin
Minsc
Jaheira
imoen
Aerie
Anomen

Merlssan is resistant to most of my spells

What spells/weapons are good against her

What you can do is cast Lower Resistance/Greater Malison combo and cast Greater Malison and Doom with you clerics and druids, that reduces her magic resistance and her saving throws as well. A spell that i thought was exelent was Death Fog or Death Spell because is instantly kills any summond foes.

The first time I finished the game,I had to do before leaving home on holiday,so I used a cheat,which is quite a spoiler,but a fun one. After lowing her resistances and saving throws I used chain contingency by my two mages,where I stuck 3 Abi-Dhalzim's Horrid Wilting,so 6 in total-That pretty much does the trick with any enemy.
In order to rememorize my spells,I used the cheat
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("BERNARD"). Bernard is the bartender at the Copper Coronet,so by speaking to him you can rest in all luxury, even though you are...wherever that final place is....Pretty neat, and you can use it anytime during the game,as many times as you wish.
What you shouldn't use at all is time-stop,because Melissan is a demi-god and such creatures don't get frozen during the spell.

THe Deathspell is quite effective, though I didnt waste time trying to lower her resistance, I just Charged her with my tanks, and got my Bard to cast magic weapon prot. ova and ova. I did the same with the F/Ms Ive had... its a breeze

There is another way but its a bit cheesey though. if you have a magic user Cast Project Image then summon lots of Planetars, i know, its a bit cheesey but i got that tactic form Dundee Slaytern, thanks man [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

Thanks for help, killed her for the secoond time, now stuck on thwe third, she summons 4 shadow slayers.

Is there any easy way to kill them?

Easy no. but it can be done. what i did was station 4 mordkainens swords and a planetar (you are using the whish->rest exploit, arent you?) besides the spot where mellisan teleports to. then you can kill the first four slayers while she fights the swords and planetars. from then on its a simple matter of taking on mellisan herself. well, maybe not so simple.

Purifier.... as much as i LOVE CF its just no good against those superior saving throws.
