Killing Bodhi

Anyone got any good tips for killing Bodhi? - it's a tough encounter!.

No special tactics - those that work against undead (vamps in particular) should work against Bodhi. Some tips:

Use enchanted weapons - iirc you need +2 or better.
Use spells like False Dawn and Sunray. The Sunray ability of Daystar helps too.
Holy Smite (Priest spell) - affects all evil creatures (including those in your own party like Edwin, so be careful).
Summoned creatures - I like Fire Elementals.
Negative Plane Protection - protects against level drain.
If your cleric is high enough, turn undead may work also.
Use those weapons with special abilities against undead - Mace of Disruption (esp the upgraded version), Daystar, Azuredge.

I think the sunray and false dawn spells are too high for me or not available.
The mace of Disruption doesnt really seem to effect her.
And she can kill my main character in 2-3 hits!

I have a good few hours spare tonight to try again - I will prevail!

1 time summon some monsters and let everybody hack and slash jim

2 time let dritzzt get him to the near death

Monsters dont seem to effect her.

I have never seen drizzt in either BG1 or BG2.

Is this the first or secnd time, that would explain not seeing Drizzt. If you're talking about the first time you fight her, jjust summon the five monsters allowed, power up right before you stake the last of 3 coffins, then Hack away, what character are you playing? If you're playing a mage keep him/her back and fire MM, or spells like that.

Do you have the Daystar, if not try and get it, though that is not that easy for lower levels. It's in the Gate area.

Well, last night I spent over an hour trying to kill her!, still couldnt do it!.

The best I did was to cast summon insects on her which took a few hit points away.

I have now given up and have gone back to town to complete a few side quests.

Fire seems to hurt undead well.. have summoned creatures up front while you fire flame arrows from behind- alse Azureedge is ranged , casting bless on the party before hand seems to help its effectiveness in hurting undead. (Protection from evil as well).. if you want a front line tank in the melee, use a Protection from undead scroll on them first.
