where to find these items?

i'm looking for the cloak of balduran, cloak of the wolf, and boots of lightning speed. any help on where to find them would be appreciated.

Hello, fellow Dawg.

The three things you asked for are in the item lists, but can't be found in game. You can use ShadowKeeper or the CLUA Console to get them.

Love to see another Dawg here. Make me proud!

ask if you need the exact codes for the items.

Boots of speed: On a fighter in the fort before decending into the Cloakwood Mines

Cloak of Balduran: Needs to be pick pocketed from a prostitute in the undercellars (Get to it through the blue mermaid in BG)

Cloak of the Wolf: I had it but can't remember where I found it. Will get back to you on that one.

Hey Jim,

these items are also in the item list of BG2, just can't be accessed in-game. You can get them through the above-mentioned methods.

that's what i thought, but i wasn't sure. does the same go for the robe of the neutral archmagi and the girdle of gender?

actuly you can get the robe of neutral archmagi and the good and the evil i just dont remember where! but the boots of lightning speed is a special pair of boots. i dont know where to get them but they do the folowing:

afected by improved haste.
cannot attack or cast spells.
etc. etc...

In bg1 the cloak of the wolf is in the sirine cave in the area under the area between candlekeep and beregost, and in bg2 the boots of speed are in Spellhold dungeon.

also I think that the robes of neutral, evil, and good archmagi are in the shop in Trademeet on the very top of the map ( at least one is there).

There are boots of speed (Paws of the Cheetah) in both the Planar sphere and the Asylum. The boots of lightning speed are a different (cursed?) item to those above.
