well any character can weild a 2handed weapon, but ur example wouldnt work cuz its a one handed and a two handed at the same time: no class in the game can do that (its not d2, mind ye).

It would be cool if chars with something like 22 strength could wield two-handed weapons(Not bows and crossbows) in one hand, imagine the Silver Sword in one hand and Carsomyr in the other!

Well they wouldn't be 2 handed swords would they. Kinda like saying I want to have a super strong archer using 2 bows, One in each hand.

There is a difference, with a bow you need one hand to hold it and one to pull back the string, with a two-handed sword you swing it with both hands because it is so heavy that you need to use two.

Not just a size problem, it is how big you are. A halfling would have major trouble with that 2h sword. (Dunno about BG2 tho.)

I agree. Really strong fighters (18/00 and up) should be able to wield 2-hnd swords in one hand, with a damage penalty of -2 or something. Although, dual-wielding 2 2-hnd swords is really pushing it.
Does anyone else think that it is nuts that Monks can't use staves? The staff is *the* classical monk weapon. |

your best to go for katanas if you want to wield two swords at once. celestial fury is one, not sure if theres another good katana. In reality a katana is a two handed weapon and in that respect the games wrong but hey......who cares.
