I REALLY wish my Druid could use a long bow. With Shadowkeeper I can easily give him proficientcy, but he still can't use the weapon. Is there some other change I can make to allow it? There are a lot of fields in Shadowkeeper I don't understand and don't dare change.

The thing is this, Druids can't use bows AND bows can't be used by Druids... SO, you can give your druid proficienies in bow but without changing the properties of the bow you want him/her to use, the druid still can't use the bow, does this sound right? I never done this but i think to let your druid use a bow, download Infinity explorer "PRO" version from www.teambg.com and modify or make your own bow that can be used by druids...if you need more help i can continue to help, i hope

The druid class is not allowed to use bows, so no matter what you do in SK you won't be able to use one. You can however get around this in one of two ways:
1. Create a bow that is usable by druids (call it the Sherpa's Sting or something. ![]() 2. Modify the druid kit to allow you to use bows (this is a bit more complicated) #1 is the easiest way. I'll try and summarize what you have to do. 1. Use SK's Item Browser to export a bow that you want to use into your override (click on Export Item box in Inventory Browser with the item selected). Make a note of the item code of the item in SK (it's the rightmost column of data). 2. Close down SK and open up IEEP. Click on Item Maker, then load up the code for the bow (from your BG2 Override folder). 3. Select the LEFTMOST box (from the 3 boxes at the bottom). Click on where it says "Usability". Then make sure the druid checkbox is ticked. (you can make other changes here, add special powers, etc if you choose). 4. Save this in your BG2 Override folder under a new name. 5. Reopen SK and then cheat this item into your inventory. Done! ![]() ------------------ ![]() ![]() |
