should i get a familier for my lvl11 assasin mage? i've tryed it then reloaded and found it would be a fairy dragon or something like that.

I say go for it, if nothing else, I think it adds a few Hit points. Then pop it in your pack, and you should be fine.

Bruce, Let me know what happens. Did you dual, or are you multi classed? what race etc. I have a dualed kensai/mage with a cute little bunny rabbit familiar. It's kind of neat, he can detect traps for me.
