Day 85 and Cernd has slain yet another mighty foe.
His awesome bodycount continues to rise ( 16 and mounting ). The mightiest foe vanquished thus far.... an ogre.

Is he the most worthless NPC in the game ?

Debate.

Cernd is the best Druid in the game and also an complete lozer.
But you must keep in mind that druids serve more purposes then to kill enemys, the´ve got some great protection and summoning spells like iron skin and insect plague.

I don't like druids much,I only got 1 druid in my group(Jahera),she doesn't help much,but I keep her for the spells.

for killing the most useless is either nalia or aerie

Aerie and Nalia are fare from usless.
Nalia is the best good alligned mage in the game and aerie is a great allround spellcaster.

I will have to agree with Dreamer128, Aerie and Nalia are worthy party members (provided you use them right), no one tells you to have them go melee and not cast any magics. Nalia can get to the highest mage level, Aerie offer both cleric support and mage spells.
As for druids, I never really like them. They only serve as three things for me in the game: NPC quests, major side quests, and spell casting support (disrupt mages and summon pretty powerful critters).

Viconia is worth taking if you are evil, don't have a cleric in party, and romance development. She got a fair number of hitpoints and is an average (or slightly below average) fighter, this of course, is dependent on what equipment you have given her.

And yes, in theory, Viconia is suppose to be the best cleric in the game due to the single class cleric factor and while the exp cap is still in place.

Not only is Viconia the best cleric in the game, she also has the best romance and it is an awful lot of fun to have her in a party with jaheira and Aerie.
