Jaheira's Romance/Harper's Questions..

Hi,

I'm new around here but I'll try to be brief..

First and quickest problem is that it appears to be a mini-quest involving the Harper's and Jaheira but I'll be danged if I can find it or get it to trigger. I've already been in the Harper's Guild Hall on another quest but I can't seem to find a quest involving your relationship between Jaheira and her with the Harpers.

My second problem is in two parts: Firstly, Jaheira and the kiss of death. I cannot get Bohdi to do it. All that happens is that we slay Bohdi and then we're off after Jon again. What can I do to get this senario to trigger?; And secondly, Once this encounter is over and we leave the tomb, Malachor Harpell (spelling?) pop's in but we cannot talk to him or interact with him even though he throws our group into dialog mode. Any attempts to interact with other characters or to even rest after this becomes extremely difficult because the screens switch back on their own before you can make any selections in the dialog and such. And he follows us from region to region. We cannot shake him. I'm tempted to kill him. Any suggestions?

Thanks for any input or help on these issues. It's becoming a real buttscratcher.

The Harper quest starts after you give the body of the gy being beaten up, in a between encounter, to the man at the door. As for Bhodi killing Jaheria it only occurs if you are in a romance with her, other wise it the other romance character. Harpell is a friend of Drizzts, he apears if you have some of his, or his friends, stuff. You must get rid of it or he just take it, otherwise you can't get rid of him.

K.. Gotcha covered on the situation regarding Harpell and the romance.. Seems I've got Drizzt's Scimitar on me.. ;x Can fix that no problemo.. The romance still working on it..

But that leave the Harper's mini-quest.. The guy at the door is no longer there. I did the other quest involving the wizard's apprentice earlier and once completed I cannot regain entrance to the Harpers nor has there been anyone outside that I've seen. Did I miss something?

Have you had a message to return to the hold, if so the door unlock nad they are all in side waiting for you. If not try it anyway.

I haven't received a message yet but will try anyway.. Will keep trying on this. I appreciate all the help so far.

Hmm still at a loss.. I've adventured round for quite a while now and still no message from the Harpers. Any ideas on how to get them to call for us, like a specific location or event that might get them to come? Any suggestions welcome.

Normally, the "first" official Harper summon occurs shortly after I defended Jaheria from a bunch of thugs who attempted to rob us after our party take a nap. This event always occurs in the outdoors (ie. sleep outside in the wilderness) for my games. After the whole drama, Jaheria will be summoned away to Harper's hold and the next time you sleep (I think) she will return and tell you to visit her buddies at the Harper's Hold ASAP.

Will try anything.. Off to give it a go..

According to my experience for certain events
in Jaheira's romance/quests to be triggered it is not only necessary to rest outside but also to do so in areas that are loaded from
disc no. 4 - the outdoor areas to the south.
Of course, that might only be true if you do not operate with the full installation.
