Against all odds, Valygar got involved in a mighty fun conversation when I played the other day. Of course, he didn't contribute much to it, Jan did the fun part, but it almost had me down on the floor. I don't remember it all, but it was about Jan's aunt Petunia, who was a ranger like Valygar, with the usual ranger companions of course, namely a Wyvern, a Shadow Dragon named Blackie and a Solar called Larry.

I rather liked the tale about the book his mother wrote. 'Sins of the Flesh Golem', I think. His projectile vomitting cousin was fairly interesting, too. But my all-time favourite was Jan's sting against Anomen: the story of Ano, the Lobotomised Orc. Pure gold.
