Fighters should be banned from BG2

In any where in the world there are people above average intelligence and those below it, strangley most of the people i know who are pretty smart have very little physical attributes (though there are exceptions). To try and create a realistic world the developers need to include a range of classes closley representitive of real-life sterotypes : ie, big dumb ogres.... i know some in real life.

Sometimes people just preffer to play with a class that closley represents them, even if its not the most powerful. Despite my name i have a secret affection for the bard class.

Oh, and did anyone forget the cloak of mirroring?

the only use of warriors are to die by the hand of a magician

yes but warroirs are also good for send to attack oppiseing mages they may die but the mage has used some spell and you can finsh the job. warriors are a class of those that don't understand magic or the paitinet or faith the be paladians or clerics

Agree and Disagree. Mages and magic users are A LOT funner to play with I think but I dont think that fighters should be BANNED from the game, they also play an important role. However that is just my opinion that mages are funner to play, I think they add more stradegy to the game instead using a fighter and hoping you hit each time. Also, fighters are fun to play as but not as fun as mages. If you are new to the BG series then you should start with a fighter to get used to the game and not have to deal with magic until you get better.

I like the sadistic approach... I like being hit and say,"Is that all you've got punk?" And then hit 'em with my sword. I like the pain I recieve and emit, unlike mages... can't even defend themselves without spells....
