I've seen a lot of posts with people stating that a Kensai/mage can wear bracers... is tis from first hand experience or is this a case of "I heard it from him, who heard it from him, who heard it from her, who heard it from grandma..." coz my kensai/mage can't wear bracers

anyway could it be because of shadowkeeper? He started out as a
Half elf lawful good fighter mage with 14, 18, 18, 18, 13, 8

and is now a
human chaotic neutral kensai/mage with 15, 16, 18, 18, 16, 7

He's at level 13 kensai, level 12 mage and just entered chptr 3.

I also have TOB installed (I installed it while my character was a fighter/mage), but no patches or Baldurdash fixes.

Help, please?

Well, one of the kensai's disadvantages is that he cant wear bracers. So I do not think your game is "wrong"

see ya!

Kensai aren't allowed bracers, but they can wear cloaks.

More rare than a Kensai wearing bracers, though, would be one of chaotic neutral alignment... the Sword Saints live and breath law, though I suppose one twisted by long years of study in the black arts might turn be rendered insane or otherwise chaotic neutral.

You're right, Kensais can't be chaotic anything... I just wanted a cat familiar, since it's an excellent scout... no need to waste a slot on wizard eye
