Problem with WOW

I just bought my WOW. It says I have 1 month free play but when registering I need to enter my credit card number. Problem is that I do not have a credit card. The telephone number that they listed there is unreachable. How on earth do I play this game?

You are going to have to get a gamecard if you don't have a credit card.

Try the store where you got WoW for a gamecard.

Grrrr...That stupid storeclerk didn't say anything about needing a gamecard. All he say is free 1 month play. I will go visit him tommorow. Maybe I'll bring along my katana... [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

ps. That is one hell of a patch to download. 252.87mb big? holy cow!!

At this point, you have a ridiculous amount of data to patch. And with a 56k, believe me, tis no easy task. I envy anyone with a high speed connection.

And yes it is free for one month of play, but they still require some sort of "registration" if you will.

Good thing the game backs up all your patches as you download them

When I started playing, the patch was only 190MB so it wasnt the end of the world, but now I have ADSL so i look forward to patches
