Half life 2: I'm stuck

In Nova Prospekt. How do I get past this?

It loses some of its quality when saved as Jpeg, but as you can see the socket I need to pull to cut off the forcefield is in a room protected by bulletproof glass. If I stand at the edge of the forcefield, the socket is not in my line of sight, so I cannot use the gravity gun on it.

Can anyone explain it? Thanks.

Pull out the power cord from the wall. If that won't work, shoot the power cord with a radiator.

Ehh... not working I'm afraid. I'm throwing all the boxes, radiators and barrels I can into that room, but I can't seem to pull out the cord. Oh, and firing objects at the cord itself doesn't work as they just go straight through.

Not the cord, the place it's hooked up into the wall..

Well, that's the problem - I can't see the socket where it is hooked up. If I stand at the edge of the forcefield, I can see through the door, but the socket is just out of my line of sight.

A radiator should bounce just right to get it off. If that doesn't work, use a grenade.

Where in Nova Prospekt is this?

I played through NP yesterday, and remember pulling out two plugs; this looks like the second one.

I just came across another huge forcefield stretching across a 20 metre or so distance. I couldn't see any way to destroy it so I stacked up some tables, lockers, and computer moniters and jumped my way over.

I too grenaded the blasted thing... I had a bit of trouble with that too, was thinking too Grav-gun centric.
