I'd like to do a party of 2 now. From what i've read i see alot of Bishop/Bard duo's. I don't really think a bard is that great, thats just me though. If you have played a 2 man team, could you post your party and what weapons you used just so I'll have a few ideas.

I'd like to use a Lord, and maybe a Sam, or Ninja. Who knows

thanks

I once ran an elf bishop and hobbit rogue duo. I got two of the three items with them, but then lost my whole hardrive thanks to some random lightning which took out half the hardware in our computer (and got me a much better one ).

I took one level of rogue (I think, it might have been something else) with the bishop for stealth. After both of the chars got stealth up to the 80's the game got actually quite easy. With the bishop I focused on all four spellbooks, putting points into wizardry, divinity, alchemy and psionics at level ups. I just let the realm skills rise on their own. The bishop used Doom with some life regen items and the rogue used dual stillettos (for their critical strike).

heh, i just made my 12th finish with a duo. This one was inspired by the Faerie thread, and was a Bishop and Ninja, both Faerie. The Ninja started as Alchemist, mostly for the extra Dex, because i like to get Reflextion ASAP. The Bishop had a Ninja level for Stealth, Dual, and Crit. The Bishop dualled Shillelahs until they got Doom, and the Ninja, of course the Cane, and Sprite's Dagger.

But that wasn't one of my faves. I think those are:

Rawulf Lord + Hobbit Ranger (Mauler/DE, Phaser; Estoc/DE, Strong/Mystic) Rogue levels @ 5 for Stealth, and the Ranger started as Alchemist for higher Dex and boost to Magic skills. Though tougher without PP, i didn't relly miss it.

Bishop-to-Samurai + Bard-to-Samurai, both Hobbit (Doom then Zatoichi/spells; Hearts then Bushido and Muramasa/Enchilada Whackyslashy and various Bows)
Both were Rogues for Stealth and the Bard changed @ L9; Bishop @ L16. This was probably the most fun of them all, played mostly in Expert.

In Ironmode i finished only one duo:
Hobbit Bard-to-Fighter + Rawulf Lord (Light/Stiletto, bow; dual DE's, bow) I would have been perfectly happy with Fang, but i never even went to the SE Wilds, kuzz i got this Light first...the 2nd of only 2 games so far with a first-load Light! Anyway, this one stayed Bard to around L17, don't remember exactly, but it was in order to wear Infy, best thing you can do for an Iron party...after Stealth...

I once run a duo: Lizzy fighter and elf bishop. They are still out there at AP, at level ~42, and may one time play on to level 50. I did a level of rogue early, but after this, the game went really easy; i don't recommend it.

My one duo had a bishop, I think the other was a lord. That was a while ago. It went fine after the obligatory ordeal getting to Arnika. Tried a solo faerie ninja to bishop back to ninja. Got really hairy in some places as I don't train on stealth but was a piece of cake by the Rift.

A bishop (or fighter? rogue?) almost ensures success in a duo. A much harder team would be two hybrids (such as ninja and valk) or two pure casters such as mage and priest.

Not that much harder. In fact, my easiest Duos have been of Hybrids. Alchemist and Priest isn't that bad; they both get some pretty good armor choices. Mage and Psi are tough, mostly in the first few levels, regerdless of the other member's class.
