I've been looking for a new xbox game and noticed BG and BG2 ,are they mostly the same as the pc game or is their a significant difference between them? Thanks Can't seem to justify 2000 dollars for a new pc just for games! So I'm looking for newer games for my xbox..Fable should be out soon!

Never ever confuse the Console Baldur's Gate games with the PC ones. The console games are hack'n'slash roughly on par with Diablo. The PC games are full out RPG games. And just my personal opinion, but I prefer the PC games.

If you have to choose one or the other go with PC games. Unless you prefer hack'n'slash to roleplay.

Yeh, it isn't bg2 for the xbox its BGA2 there is a big difference. The one on the xbox is ok, but no where near as good as the one for the pc. Yeh, Fable looks really good, what about trying Morrowind?

Kinda strange gaming companies these day using famous pc game title to attract gamers to buy their games like this one. and also the Everquest : Champion of Norath. People see the word Everquest or BG and say " uh, this must be a very good game just like the pc version. I must buy it.".

I've played BG2 twice and Morrowind (Morrowind on xbox) my pc couldn't quite handle it.And I'm just looking for something to play without having to spend 2000 dollars on a new pc!!I've played almost anything my old pc could handle (RPG wise)and just can't justify the cost for gaming only..So any good RPGs for the xbox I would like to hear about, and I've already played KOTAR and Heroes of D&D.Thanks for any ideas...
