I got this mission for the Temple from the Ghost Gate Shrine to find the Crosier of St. Llothis which is supposed to in the Red Mountain. The question is: where there? It is sort of implied it might be within Dahoth Ur's lair, but naturally I can't get there since I'm not quite that far in the main story (I'm still getting Temple missions after all

- - - - - - - - - - - - You don't need to be any specific level to get into Dagoth's Lair. You don't need to go in very far to get the Crossier, however. It is surrounded by rather tough people. Ash Slaves, Dreamers, Awakened Dreamers and Ascended Dreamers(?) It's in a room called... I believe.. the Tower of Dagoth Ur, or Tower at Dagoth Ur.. it's the only room you need to use a lader to access. You should be able to get in and out without ever running into Dagoth who's way at the back of the base. Though I'd pack some serious healing and firepower as those Dreamers are nothing but spellage. Also you'll come across some good loot too. |

Went there already. The problem was I didn't notice the lever that opens the door. Damn blight storm.
As for the toughness of monsters...lets just say I'm a level 42 barbarian with an enchanted daedric battle axe... ![]()

I'm level 13 Mage/Fighter, will I survive??? I mean I killed Umbra when I was level 12, and just killed the Arch-Mage, but I can't fight too many enemies. What strategy do I adopt??

you might, but getting there would be tough. theres all sorts of diseases and NASTY monsters to face. ascended sleepers are one of the toughest monsters in the game... i wouldnt take one on at level 13, although i would by level 20... though you still wouldnt always survive. it depends on your character, i was an assasin.
you should make an exquisite ring of levitation first, and fly to dagoth urs lair at least... that will eliminate alot of the fighting on the way there and back. if i were you, i'd do a bit more questing until (SPOILER), say, i were immune to certain diseases that creatures in red mountain like to pass along.

Avatar, I think it would be more fun for you to play through the main quest and go there when you're instructed to, rather than jump in now. You might be able to deal with the fighting, but IMHO you'll ruin the main quest. I don't know exactly how far along in that you are, but I'd hold off a bit for the time being.

I haven't even found all 3 informants in Vivec yet!!!! hahhhaaa though I have finished the Mages Guild, and half way through Fighters, Imperial Cult and Temple. Need to do Thieves, and House, and Legion.

hope youre not too far into the fighters guild, or that you've already joined the theives guild, cus if you havent then you can't join. worth a try though, but if you wait to long to join the theives after joining fighters, then they won't take you in
