I wonder how people like to view the game while playing. I sometimes switch to the full cinematic view with floating text at the bottom, but regularly stick with the small window where I can see the characters. I don't bother with the middle choice. Have a 19" flat monitor, so the small window isn't too bad.

i play on my lappie with a 14-inch view. so i keep the characters minimised, and the text bar transparent at the bottom. but i like having the radar and position boxes up in the bottom corners.

if the chars have anything to say, they just pop their heads in my way to get my attention

I have only the radar box at the bottom in the left corner and the text bar transparent in the middle ( 21" Monitor ).

I keep the pics out of the way - seems that you miss so much with them in the way. Somethings seem to hand on the edges. Anyhow, it gets me out into the world. Oop, maybe thats for the other tread about Wiz 8 taking over our lives.

I keep only the Radar on. Especially if i got X-Ray. I know what my formation is, there's no need for me to see it. (haven't played with more than 3 chars in a long time--they just all go in the middle together)

(edit) Besides, you can see your formation in the Radar window on close-up or Combat mode..
