THREE games I've been looking forward to are getting released.

First game to hit shevles: F-Zero GX. This comes out a day before the other two, hence "first game to hit shelves". I've always liked the F-Zero games, and I missed out on the fluid N64 release. I have played a demo, and I TELL YOU WHAT: The frame-rate is unbeatable. I loved playing the demo, so I bet I pick it up.

Next: Soul Calibur 2. Best 3d fighting game series' latest incarnation. What isn't to like? Well, other than the fact the controllers for every system suck for fighting games except the PS2, and the PS2 version has massive slowdown according to all the reviews I've read. Anyway, I already know the game is good (a friend of mine wanted it so badly for so long he went and imported the Japanese version.)

Finally, and what I'm looking forward to most:
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.
It's all sprites (YES), very anime-ish (DOUBLE YES), and is a tactical RPG in the veins of my all-time favorite game, Final Fantasy Tactics (I AM IN HEAVEN TRIPLE YES). There is a demo video up at www.atlus.com/main.html, if you go click the Disgaea link on the right of the screen. (It's a 50 mb download, just as a warning to dial-up users). From what I've seen of it, the game will rule.

Hey, welcome to IW Beoulve!

I loved F-Zero X on the N64. It was fast, smooth and very cool! F-Zero GX looks sweet, but I don't have a GCN...damn.

I can't wait for Soul Calibur 2! I'm getting the PS2 version as that is the only console I own! Which version are you getting? BTW, even though slowdown is present in the PS2 version, it is very minimal.

I'll probably get a GC Soul Calibur. Link vs Heihachi? It's not a hard decision for someone who plays as many classics as I do, and never liked Tekken to begin with!

I finally looked up Disgaea, after a whole week of wondering what the hell you guys were talking about! It must not be coming out for a while (in Australia) as I haven't read or seen any information on this title at all.

Just looked it up on IGN and it sounds pretty interesting. It got 9.2/10! That's a good score!

Ooh, I feel special. I got a thread bumped from like 2 weeks ago.

@ Cloud: Eh, sure. Why not. It's rare that a game comes out that I can totally immerse myself into and love every minute of it.
