What party have you had the best luck with

My 1st game, i used an imported party from wiz-7. I started with a lord, samerai, ninja, valkarie, bishop, & ranger. Upgraded the lord to a Gadgeteer. I had a blast. Finished the game at level 21-22 and rarely had to reload. Most if not all of my guys died several times but i think that's suppose to be that way. I think the hardest battle i had was in a certain temple but managed to win on the 1st time through. My party laughed at the rapax.

I currently have; 4 Lizardwomen Fighters, 1 Fairie Bishop and 1 Mook Gadgeteer. I developed all the fighters skills in polearm and they now use Stun Rods. They beat the crap out of anything, even monsters' five levels higher than they are. I'm going to keep the stun rods 'til the end; the 20% paralyze and 75% stamina drain with two attacks from 4 fighters is hard to beat!
Gadgeteers sort of suck I think since any use of gadgets drains too much stamina. The fairie Bishop is a little too wimpy and takes a long time to build. I'd probably replace these two classes for pure casters or a Rogue and caster.

I've had both a faerie bishop and a mook gadgeteer. They were both females and wore amulets? of endurance. Early on i increased the vitality on the gadgeteer to 70. Made a big difference in her stamina. For the bishop i think i had powercast at level 11 (fountain helps).
