I have seen something called Morrowind: game of the year, for xbox on gamespot.com, and it said that it will contain bloodmoon and tribunal, and will be released into stores late this year. Can somebody give me some reassurance that this is real?

Yes, the Morrowind Platinum Edition contains all patches and both expansion packs.

The top of the list, here. Seems it will have everything included in the original Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon except journal organization.

I went out and bought Morrowind and Tribunal for the PC, but my computer can't handle them. A new video card will be a load more expensive than one game, so, does anyone need those two?

Video cards come cheap nowadays... if you get an ATI radeon 8500 or Ati RAdeon 9000 (In Italy they come at 80€, maybe they cost less in the US). You will get a very good card and save on the price since it is outclassed by the new 9500 series. I can assure you morrowind runs well at 1024x768.
There is a drawback, though: the 8500 doesn't support the great new possibilities of directX 9.0, so it's a kind of blind alley.
Also, it's difficult to find as it's out of production.
