I've just started to play w8 and I noticed that when I enter in combat with
those green slimes, that uses ranged attack, ( spits slime ) They stay
long distance and I can kill 'em just with ranged attack!
I use spells and bow's, but it's too slow to fire once in turn and do 3-8 damage and hit very often....
How can I go closer to that monster, so I can use swords etc. close combat weapons? I can't move my party in the middle of combat.

Same problem is when I enter into room. Only one or two men can attack monsters, 'cause others are behind door.
I can't move my party to get position to use all my party members.

Do you have same problems, and how can I solve this?

Bored allready to fight...

TO move during combat, you need to use the 'move' key. Its down there on the bottom, somewhere [OK, I forget just where. Happy now? ]

The graphic in the lower right shows your party formation. Make sure your toughest guys are out front. You click on it, then move the color coded arrows [matches your charactors name color] to where you want 'em. If you move them in combat, they move back as soon as combat ends. Move them when you aren't in combat, and they stay that way.

Yes thanks. It's R button to move in battle and SHITF + R to run.
You can change that button afterwards.
