second last quests

do i have to do the secondlast missions that is to destroy the teleport machine and to destroy the umpani to achieve the trang umpani alliance or i need to do something else.where is the teleporting machine found and what to do with it and what to do to destroy the umpani.(mind you i ahve killed kunar for the flag)neither the trang nor the umpani are hostile to me as i paid off the hellis.

NO: once you have done all quests for each, you need to rescue the missing trang and umpani agents: speak to Ferro at Rapax castle to learn where they are.

If you do last mission [destroy trang teleporter for umpani, destroy umpani ship for trang], the race you choose to attack will be effectively destroyed on Dominus, and will be hostile to you from then on.

I see I phrased that badly, let me try to clarify: You do all the quest for both Trang and Umpani OTHER than the ones that will cause permanent damage: destroying the Umpani ship for the Trang, or screwing up the Trang teleporter for the Umpani.

Hope I haven't caused too much confusion...
