normally people would meet nessy at level 13 above. so probably should start fighting nessy at that level.

Hi guys, I'm already at level 15 for most of party members but still i get my *** kicked when i face nessie. Yeah, did the usual stuff of casting all the shields and stuff but still no use. Can't event run away fast enough to avoid getting 1 or 2 members killed. The last time I got away from nessie, I was down to 2 members (from a party of 8 !) Any suggestion from you guys ?

damage or magic?

i made sure all my folks were rested up, unencumbered, then cast every protection spell i could. then charged in swords waving...
with the healers keeping close tabs on any damage done to the party.

did your fighter got lightsword from bayjin, get that first, and then tell him to berserk.

okay, let your priest/bishop carry resurrection powder/scroll. then meet nessy, cast every protective magic you have, then cast superman to fighter ( if you have that spell ). only fighter should do the attacking, he should deal nearly 180++ per damage. others to do healing.

if nessy kill your fighter or other 3 members, run away and resurrect and heal up. then meet nessy again. do all the previous way. repeat and repaet until nessy is down.

Thanks guys ! My party was killed by magic (I think), nessie likes to cast magic that does damage to my party at every round ... some death thingie, can't remember now. I think I should follow your advice to run up close and fight the monster, cos each time I only concentrate on running away Will try again and see if I can beat nessie this time.

Edit: Goddamnit. Didn't even realize what I was fighting in Bayjin Shallows. The same guys drop the sword, that drop the vaporizer? Argh. I'm definately using an inventory editor, if that's the case.......

Element sheild was/is essential for me to take the edge off her earthquake spell. Canned elementals a great help to distract her and do a little damage, and purify air as she occasionally casts either death or draining cloud-- get a scroll or ring if you don't have the spell.

Armor melt also helps. You can also run past her {she will generally see and engage you, just keep running] to the cave with 'davey jones locker', and check for excal there: will be a lot easier to take her on if you have that. If it isn't, reload a save from before you enter the area to reset the chest. Once you have excal, rest, resave, rebuff, attack.

Use body of stone and superman potions for front-line warriors. It is easier that way. use chameleon spell and approach her behind rocks, and click combat while u are behind the nearest rock. Then run towards her.
