Hello, I just played the mountain wilderness dungeon the first time and it's funny when you have the map and the items are great( sword of fire, amulett of nebdar ) and now I also want the northern wilderness dungeon. I only found a map on volberding but not the way how to come in. I only know the places of the 6 runes and that i need a short staff.
Where can I get one ? Antone, Burz, Ferro, Braffit dont sell one.
And where do I use it ??
Plz help

Nope, the item to open each dungeon is fixed, and there are no substitutes. A short staff is what you must have.

Keep in mind that store stocks change every day. Burz and Antone seem to be the best bets for the staff. Try camping out in the back and seeing what's new for a few days at each place. Sooner or later, the staff should appear on the list.

These dungeons sound cool: should I have tried for them before Bayjin? As I got neiter Excalibur or the light sword, should I replay the nessie encounter, and the buccaneer ghosts? Is it worth going for these with a samurai, or should I just focus on fang-- where is it, btw?

answer : (all done on expert level difficulty)
the graveyard dungeon : lvl 6-8 is enough. If you are highlvl its not worth it anymore. (there are no items of worth for high lvl chars)

norhtern wilderness dungeon : lvl 10-12 is enough. There are a few nice items, but nothing really good.

mountain wilderness dungeon : lvl 14-16 - there are one tough fight, and a few "not easy" fights. opponents are lvl 15-30. There are 2-3 items that are very nice, especially an amulet

About the weapons : I never used excalibur or light sword, but I am using fang. It's in the SE winderness temple (big building on top in the middle of the map. There is a very tough battle with a sorceress and some cultist and 2 death knights. Just don't charge into the temple, but let them come to you 1-2 at the time, or you are going to die, because they cast very powerfull spells.

I didn't get a lightsword..10-15 reloads without any luck was enough for me. I think that it's usable by a sam, though, but Fang is a really great sam sword, namely because of that 10% kill. Excalibur is fighter/lord/valk only, but I think well worth it if you have one of those and get it from Nessie. It can also pop in the rapax queen chest, but it doesn't affect you as much then because you can have ivory blade from Ferro.
