Rift key and Kings Apartment key

1)Currently at rapax castle with this 2 keys. I was trying to figure out where I can use them. Any helpers?

2) My party is not trained in pickpocket. How can I get the key from the drunk constable in the cellar?

3) There seems to be a ladder leading up to a locked door in the castle. But everytime i click on the hand icon, nothing happens. Am i missing something?

Really appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks.

1) Rift key is for the closed door near to Rafe in Rapax Rift, you dont need it. The apartment key is used in the little hole in Rapax Castle in the room where you use the deposit slips. Put search mode on and you will recognize something by approaching the wall.
2) I pickpocket it with PP 0, the guy is totally drunken. If you really fail, kill him
3) I think, you speak about the secret passage in the cellar. Go to Ferro and press the lift. Then you can climb up the ladder.

I don't remember the rift key, but there is a tiny keyhole in the king's trophy room on the wall that you need to use the apartment key on...unless you want dominus to be blown to smithereens.

Even if your chars don't have pp, you can sometimes pp items, especially on a drunk constable *grin* I have had my gadgeteer do some pp, with some decent success. If all else fails, you can kill the constable....it says that your faction rating with the templars goes down, but they are still friendly (assuming that you've become a templar...) If not, who the heck cares anyway *grin* Those rapax can be worth some pretty good xp.

the Rift Key just makes a shortcut of about 5 paces by opening the door where you had to break the hole in the wall getting to the Staff of Ashes.
