Hello to all. I have a few questions.
1. I need a Giant Picus Egg. I have only had one encounter with picuses and of course got no egg. Where can I find more of these creatures? The ones I saw were in Trynton. 2. When I picked up the Stone Idol in Marten's Bluff, my Ranger went missing. He's lost out on a lot of exp already. How/when do I get him back? 3. Is it important to align with another faction, or is this optional? What happens when you do so? any help would be immensly appreciated. thanks and good hunting! Splinter |

Hi and welcome! Usually in Trynton there are Bull picuses; you should find some giant ones on the arnika-trynton road, they will leave the eggs.
Your Ranger got nabbed by Crock, go to his shack in the swamp and you'll get a quest to get him back. The faction stuff is all optional, but if you make one hostile towards you they won't talk to you any longer and will attack you on sight. You will also miss out on quests they can give you.

Picus Eggs can always be found in the Rapax Castle Zoo - and they make good eating!

For Picus eggs, you just have to get lucky. The only ones I've found were fighting them in the Swamp, but I don't think it'd be any different anywhere else.

3. Is it important to align with another faction, No but it gives you more XP then kill and do both side quest`s. I need a Giant Picus Egg. I have only had one You can fin this in Trynton, Swamp and Rapx Zoo. |

You can always find a Giant Picus in the wilderness clearing (before it becomes the Awayu Camp). Three of them are always in the north of the area.
Yes, you DO need to align with at least one side. It's the only way to get into the Mook building in Arnika. They won't let you in without an alliance offer from either the T'Rang or the Umpani. And yes, Crock has your missing Ranger. Better go back and get him before he misses even more experience. |
