That's because he can only make three and one is useless. [img]smile.gif[/img]
At 35 Eng, he can merge two lt. x-bows to make a doubleshot x-bow and at 70 he can merge the doubleshot and another lt. x-bow to make a tripleshot. He can also merge two plain daggers which is supposed to make a doublestrike dagger but instead it creates one that no class can use and no race can wield that can be sold for 1 gold. There aren't any other weapons he can create, though at one point it was hoped he could merge things like slings and so on.
