Swamp -- unreachable place?

I like to visit the entire map in each area. Never know what goodies I might discover with my ranger :-}

In the swamp, I can see a spot on the map that looks like it is land that can be visited, but I cannot seem to get to it. Wonder if anyone knows a way?

The spot I mean is north of the river, in the center of the easter side of the map. Just a little below that lake with some goodies floating in it If you follow the river's edge from the bridge, you get squeezed by a ridge to the north (left). Eventually, the land you can walk on comes to a point where the ridge touches the water. You cannot walk any further -- but there seems to be land just in front of you.

I cannot see any way of getting to that land from the other direction either.

Can anyone see a way to reach it? Or should I just give up.

Not AFAIK, I think it's just a slightly mis-aligned texture, certainly I can't get beyond the point you describe where the ridge meets the water.

I tried walking up the middle of the mountain ridge
That did not work.

It is possible to walk across the logs that span some of the ravines the road dips down into though. I found that cute. I wonder what might happen if you had a monster encounter while on top of one.
