Game Crashes

Hello People,

After having played Wizards and Warriors I am glad to finally have another "Wizardry" game. And it looks promising indeed (I have only gotten into the upper monastery so far).

However I have one big problem: Whenever there are many enemies to draw, the game crashes me back to desktop. This is rather random (sometimes a fight goes well till the end, then I get dropped out of the game, after next reload the game crashes when the monsters approach, ... then, maybe at the 10th time, the game continous running after the fight), but frequent.
So, I would need more patience for this than I have. After all, who wants to fight the same battles over and over again without ever being recognized for them?

I have installed the latest patch and I THINK it is better since then, but only a little.

Does anyone have a tip what I can do?

My system: Athlon XP 1700+, Geforce3, 512MB DDR, SB Audigy, Win ME, DirectX8a

Most common cause of problems like you're describing that I've seen are the NVidia drivers. What version are you running with your GF3?
