Person to raise divine magic puts on a scuba suit. Someone else, preferrably the character with the highest hitpoints, doesn't. Hop in the water, start drowning, recast heal wounds till you drop.

Another nifty trick brought to you by a kurtzyload

Kurtzy:

Can do the same with the coffin in the lower monastery. Open coffin (take dmg). Then cast heal wounds. As soon as you cast HW press "Shift & M" repeatedly until mana is gone. Camp - repeat - etc.

For you to actually gain skill though, don't you have to be hurt? Meaning only your first + maybe a few of the shift m heals will heal you to your max, and the rest get a no effect (and no skill gain). When you're drowning, you're constantly getting hurt so each heal goes toward skill gain. Am I wrong here?

Yes you do have to be hurt but there's a slight bug that you can use.

Namely if you still have dmg on your hp bar while you continuosly press the "shift & M" key it will keep the skill imrovements rolling over because it registers that at the time you were casting the spell you were hurt.
