I am interested on how HP is calculated. Is it just base in VIT? Just Class? Class and VIT?

Would guess it's both class and vit. Several of my characters have similar Vitality. My ranger and ninja have the exact same Vit and they both have the exact same HP, every level. If the ranger levels up, he obviously has more until the Ninja levels and then they are the same again.

Yet my Alchemist (who is in the same range Vit wise) HP are 20+ less than the Ninja/Ranger are.

My Samurai (also same Vit range) is about 15+ more than the Ranger/Ninja.

So I would say there are certain blocks that classes fall into where if you have similar Vit, your hp will be similar as well. Yet if you are a member of a certain block, your HP will be higher or lower depending on your class.

Say maybe

A) Fighter, Valk, Lord

B) Samurai, Bard, Theif?, Monk?

C) Ranger, Ninja, Gad, Priest

D) Casters (Alchem, Psonic, Mage, Bishop)

I seem to remember that a bishop gets slightly more HP than a mage. When I first got Wiz8, I was thinking about classchanging a char and noticed that the bishop got 1 point more than a mage.

fighter gests most then lord/valk then rouge then samuri then ranger/ninja then priest, then bishop, then alch, then psi then mage.

Hi,

let me add something: from my experience with my Eastern-Team I can tell You that the Ninja and Monk both are in the same "block" while the Samurai is a bit better, he seems to get 1/2 HP more per Lvl up.

PS: all are Human and all had 60 in VIT when I made the comparison.

and: Did I mention what a poor guy my Samurai is?! ... because of not having acces to stealth he is the aim of about 80% of the attacks on my party ... ended up in giving him a shield and I must say: "Muuuch bedda ...."
