I have just received a phone call from the local EB store...they have received supplies of Wiz 8...OH JOY [img]graemlins/1drool.gif[/img]
I am anxiously waiting for my wife to come home with the car so I can get my butt down there quick haste. [img]graemlins/verysad.gif[/img]
Oh boy, Im 45 and Im getting goose bumps just thinking about it. Is that what a normal person would be like? Who am I kidding, when has normal ever been associated with me LOL.
Please say a prayer for me that it all installs ok (I have heard some reports of difficulties with instalation due to the new copyright feature and some setup probs).
If I cannot get it to run Im dragging out my demonslayer +2 and committing harakiri

btw:
the sir-tech tech support forum is one of the quietest tech forums i have EVER seen for a game. i think the install problems are really very very few. odds are with you on this.

unlike some other recent releases i can think of.

Its seems my fellow country men/women dont share the same excitement for me

though I do sympathise with their frustrations.
This game is just BEAUTIFUL. The character creation is just marvelous and the interface is the best I have ever encountered in a CRPG.
My team at the moment are working very nicely together even though its only early times....Im still in the lower monestry. At this stage Im really starting to get rather attached to my female human Bard (even though she is blond...LOL)
Unfortunately I have to go to bed now...its 10pm here...I think I will curl up with a good book....the Wizard 8 manual

Hang in there fellow aussies...I hope you all get the game soon....This is one hell of a class act!!
