Opening myself up to a broadside of Flames....
When do you think there will be a savegame/character editor available? I want to even out some of my equipment and switch around some skills on my imported party... most ended up with a lot of stuff in the wrong areas. I want that personal flare back into them... |

Agreed with Wyvern...this is an Asbestos zone.
![]() Personally, I have no problems with people using editors. I've been thinking of bumping Myles' INT score up just so I can change him to a Gadgeteer just to see what he'll do, because he's so ridiculously stupid right now (low INT) that I can't change him to anything but a fighter, and it will take several level ups on him to get his INT up to where I could change him. On my main-line characters, I prefer not to use an editor, but let them develop on their own. One of the things I like about Wizardry 8 over Wiz 7 is that in 8, you get to choose where you want to place your points, whereas in Wiz 7 it was totally random...also, level up occurred immediately when you finished an encounter, so you couldn't "defer" it to later or re-level without replaying the encounter again, and again, and again... *sigh*. I like this system much better. -Sazerac |

You mean I bought this fire proof suit for nothing?
Hey thanks for the heads up on the Trainer.... I hope a comprehensive save game editor comes out! I would like to be able to get to some item editing without the hex... its rather labourious, all for a suit of platemail and a broadsword. It's not like I'm after a *Light*Sword* or such. Its such a bother being lazy. |
