I decided to form a new party and run through the game from the beginning, since now I have a feel for it. I also decided to run in expert mode just to see the difference.
All I can tell you guys is...DO IT! From the beginning. The difficulty level is maybe 5-10% more, but you get a greater chance at wandering monsters. The best perk, though, is that almost all of the monsters drop loot--and GOOD loot at that. I'm not yet to Upper Monastery, and I just picked up a Bascinet and Camail off of a Noxious Slime! ROFL!! They're also almost level 5, and I haven't even seen "Greg" yet! Will post more here later, but if you're just starting out...try Expert level. If it's too much for you, turn it back down to "Normal". Cheers,
