it seems like i post a message like this every couple of months, and one or two people reply, which i really do appreciate.
i'm motivated to make art for this game, and feel that other people need art for their designs. the only trouble is that i don't know what they want. if i did, i could start working on it. (i know, obvious. ![]() i can make all the art i want, but if noone wants to use it, there just doesn't seem much point in posting it on a website, i'll just keep it on my harddrive. what would people like to see done for dungeon craft? there are some really good artists in this community, and i know that they all are open to suggestions. please post your suggestions as a reply to this message or as a new post, whichever works best for you. -manikus |

G'day Manikus,
I've already downloaded all your artwork so far. If you need ideas, how about some spell effects and different spell casters? Or perhaps a themed monsters set, like heaps of undead, etc? That would be fantastic! Looking forward to seeing more of your great artwork. |

I know what I would like is some nice overlay images. Things like plants, fountains, chairs, desks, counters, etc. I guess you could say 'Furniture' in general. Oooo. Paintings and or Stained glass windows would be nice too!
![]() I definately think the game could use more overlay objects. They would help a Crafter be able to customize an otherwise generic room.

Definitely. Overlay, furniture, barpersons, etc are all very good. If possible can we get it in a wall format which will work with easy tex walls. Easy tex is not perfect, as some people have said, but with some tweaking (like making a mirror image of non-symmetric walls) fairly basic walls can be reasonably effective. But none of the overlays work.
Do other people use easy tex or is there a better utility out there? Also, I have a lot of art which I have created or converted. Had it on a web site a while ago but that got taken down. If anyone is interested, email me steve_mcdee@hotmail.com and ask and I can send you whatever you want, if I have it. I have small pictures of most basic items (useful for "EXAMINE" command which is cool, many small pictures of monsters and a few big pictures, many walls (in easy tex format, I'm afraid) including doors and windows, screen backgrounds, and other assorted artwork. I will put them on a web site again some day and will let everyone know the URL. Steve |
