All of the new walls look good. Perhaps a forest with some transparent sections would also be good (a conversion of UA forest wallsets)?
If you could do some half-wall overlays (ie only the bottom half of a wall) then these could be used with other wall sets to make it look like (say) there is a stone foundation with a brick wall built on top. Anyway, keep up the good work. |

great walls, ziroc! i particularly liked the forest walls.
it would be cool to have pine trees and some cave walls. seems that so many of the walls, for both dc and frua, are city/town based, when so many of my fondest p&p memories were far away from civilization... keep up the fantastic work! |

The bookcase should add a touch of realism. They look great.

Hey Ziroc,
great work. Keep on going. What do you think about some egypt wallsets. Some nice wallsets for mines, ruins, elegant castles. Hmm how about more stuff like tables, boards, desk, torches, vines, chains and so on. Thanks for your work man. |

Great ideas everyone! I'll add the ideas to the list-- I am working on a few of your ideas now-- Elegant Castles, Mines and Egyptian wallsets! Reading my mind again!
![]() I'll also do some Cave sets and underwater sets. I'm TRYING to do City Wallsets, but it's very VERY tricky.. It takes 2 layers to make them look 'right' in a way.. You'll see what I mean when I release them.. it's hard to explain. ![]() More Art releases in a few days!! |

Oh yeah, forgot to say that I'm almost done making some transparency trees, they look good with the 'non transparency trees 1 block behind them.. gives a feeling of depth.. Also making a forest backdrop.. makes a HUGE difference..

quote: This is really awe inspiring work. I downloaded DC, EzWall editor, and the Last Days of Autumn design. I had a hunch it would bring back this sort of feel. Was a great design. I was overly impressed at the wall textures and amount of time spent with the text as well as some of the object work. In opening up the editor, I was totally lost. Reminded me of when I tried playing with autocadd and bryce's art program - both I didn't progress too far with( have been using ms paint and adobe photoshop for a while). I'm now reading the help files and am more interested in how to make great wall sets with working on objects also in mind. All of the work is just astounding. I highly like the Eye of the Beholder wall sets. I do share the same enthusiasm as others when they suggest the elegant castles and egyptian style walls( I also like the sci-fi high-tech looking texture works as well). I almost wonder how do you do it... I'm working with Adobe on and off and can't even create textures as some have here(well the plain jane ones are easy but when it comes to making 3d metallic walls with billets - ugh). Is most of the experience gained from working it alone or is there a wealth of online tutorial help out there that easily helps one produce graphics such as what I'm seeing? In my searchings, I've come across mediocre tutorials that showed only one method on how to replicate whatever the artist did; nothing yet has been found explaining the ins and outs of texture making. I opened up the EZwall editor and imported a picture and saw how it was easily transfigured. I still have many questions relating to using transparencies, what are some good art programs to use for this sort of work, AND mostly, when the flat image is set to be the backwall, how does one change the image to have the 3d effect when it's now a side wall? That's probably my biggest question. It makes a huge difference in appeal. I wouldn't know where to start or all that's entailed in one wallset...I see one image that the editor manipulates and works with on it's own - I don't know how I can add in a 3d effect here at all. I have the patience so anything you offer will be appreciated; this goes for any other who may be able to point me in the right direction in getting the fundamentals down so that I can also contribute to DC designing. To contribute to the ideas for more wall sets: Can translucent walls be created? I'd like to see or know that it's possible - something like a glowing colored see through wall set. Also drapery| walls that have pins or protrusions sometimes used in torture chambers(overlays?)| modern - vertical/horizontal blinds| any cultural wall set- egyptian, aztec, asian, and any other infleuntial works that show some sign of previous civilization| underworld- gem embedded walls, lava burnt, moss infested, chipped/cracked hardened sod, mangled roots and vines | aerial( with use of a cloud bottom background or bottom showing city rooftops for illusion) - walls of clouds, columns of gas, stars/ stardust....welp, I'ma need to stop since I can run wild and sometimes that isn't good. Just want to end it with: Awesome contribution and show of creativity on your part, keep up the great inspiring work, and thanks for reading.
