Hi all,
I've downloaded the latest release of DungeonCraft (version .650) and also the Editor/Engine update (version .651). I recently started a design based on a campaign I'm currently running ... unfortunately after I had completed a few level maps I found that the one I had worked on the most had disappeared! (no, I didn't clear it and yes, I did save it). The other levels seemed to be OK. Fortunately I had a backup - I do some programming from time to time and over time have learned the hard way to do this VERY often (power outs etc.). Could be that my PC's been glitching again but does anyone know if this has been known to happen with the new version of DC? Cheers |

This is the first time I've heard of that happening.
When saving a design, the editor creates a backup folder and copies the current data files to it before over-writing them with saved data. The last saved version might be there. Also, if changes are made and the editor is exited it doesn't ask about saving, it just exits. There is an error log file created in the UAFWinEd folder that might contain some indication of what happened. ------------------ CocoaSpud Dungeon Craft Development Team http://uaf.sourceforge.net |
