Hey everyone
I was just wondering is there a way to cut the re-rolling and install a patch or change a setting that allows max HP rolls the first time you level up? Cheers |

I think it's a part of the Ease of Use.

Dudleyfix:
http://www.dudleyville.com/dudleyfix/bg1_tweaks.htm "Maximum Hit Points" ...is another option. This one also works on the NPC's. If they were supposed to get a set amount of points - depending on the PC's level - they will get bumped to their maximum with this tweak (as soon as they first join up with you.) Edit: only NPC's NEW levels, so if you meet them at level 1 and they start at level 1, then they won't get the bump, but if they start at level 1 and you meet them at level 2, then they get full HP for level 2 plus their original HP when they were level 1 [complicated.] [ 07-31-2006, 03:51 PM: Message edited by: Roboghost ] |

So this dudleything lets level 1 NPCs have the hit points they would have at level three? Why?

The Dud max hp:
Example: Ajantis: Max HP/level = 12 [16 CON which gives 10 (max) + 2 (bonus)] PC level = 1-2 Ajantis level = 2 HP = 20 PC level = 3-4 Ajantis level = 4 HP = 32 --> w/ Dud --> 44 Nothing changes when you meet him at PC level 1-2, but the HP will do the following when you meet him at PC level 3-4: HP = 20 + 12 + 12 = 44 Why? He goes from level 2 to level 4 when you meet him at PC level 3-4! He doesn't get the bump for level 1 or 2, but levels up from 2 to 3 to 4 when he joins you at PC level 3-4. The good thing about all this is that you can meet NPC's anytime without worrying about getting ripped on their HP. The NPC's that start at level one are the ones that you'll most benefit from {Damn Ajantis starts at level two.} Told you it was complicated... |

Actually, it's not that complicated, and is a great addition to any BG I game.
