Wow, how cool is that! And they have some good name in there as well. Michael, Kiefer, and Michelle. So, is it out this year?

Aw man! Why the heck can we not get an FR movie made? Why Dragonlance? I almost bought this series many years ago, but stayed on my goal to own all of FR instead.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that "FR=Forgotten Realms"

Really, there hasn't been a huge "Series" in Forgotten Realms, like the Dragons of all four seasons...

If the colorful adventures of Drizzt aren't a series, then I seriously don't get your standards.

But yay for the movie! Must start reading Raist novels... C'mon, recommend me, where to start, and in what order?

I guess they could make a movie about Drizzt, but having read both FOrgotten Realm and Dragonlance, Dragonlance is much more a traditional series than FR. FR is pretty just a label for books happening in the same world, while Dragonlance is pretty much one big story.

I would start with The Dragons of... series. That's what I did. I actually got the second one in the series by accident because the cover of the library copy was bad and I didn't see that it was the 2nd in the series. I got the first one and started from the beginning.

You can mess around after that. The meetings sextet is good to find out how they all met. I'll worn you now though, some of the authors are terrible.

As far as Dragonlance over Forgotten Realms (lets be courtious and type it out) either one would be great. With Tasslehoff and Flint (and hopefully Fizbin) it could make for a lot of fun!

Right. Forgot about Drizzt there. But would you really want a movie about the adventures of Mr. Do'urden?

And really, I would advise you to read them in this order:

Dragons of Autumn Twilight
Dragons of Dwarven Depths
Dragons of Winter Night
Dragons of The Highlord Skies
Dragons of Spring Dawning
Dragons of the Hourglass Mage
Dragons of Summer Flame

Dwarven Depths, Highlord Skies, and Hourglass Mage are seperate books that are being released currently by Weis and Hickman, which explains what happens between the original four seasons books.

Happy hunting!

Hmm, I didn't know about the in between books. I'll keep an eye out. BTW summer Flame had terrible drama! Be forwarded! I even sent an email to WotC telling them how bad it was.

Yeah. It isn't a must. I'd just read it to find closure
