I was sooo tempted to buy so many goody books that just game out.
1. Talon of the Silverhawk latest book (Raymond E Feist) 2. Saga of the 7 Sun (link: http://www.wordfire.com/seven.html) This is one of the better Sci fic novels I have read in a long time. Alot of intrigue, plots and good old space setting 3. Latest Dune after chapterhouse 4. Armageddon Children (Prelude Shannara series) 5. Ian Irvine (well of echoes is pretty good) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Irvine ... I am like.. whoa.. so much books to read ![]()

Hark, I didn't even realize Terry Brooks is still recycling the Shannara thing.

Saga of the Seven Suns is a pretty good read. The last book just ended with a long awaited revelation and I'm pretty excited for the next one to come out.

Talon of the Silver Hawk isn't the latest mate.
After that there is.... Talon of the Silver Hawk Conclave of Shadows: Book One King of Foxes Conclave of Shadows: Book Two Exile's Return Conclave of Shadows: Book Three New: Flight of the Nighthawks Book One of the Darkwar Saga Flight of the Nighthawks is very good. I got confused abit as it does jump between two worlds very suddenly but then it comes together very nicely in the end.

While I've read all of the Saga of the Seven Suns books, I don't consider them to be more than entertaining. The plot is interesting (although often predictable) and the books are nicely written, but I feel the characters lack depth. Then again, after having read A Song of Ice and Fire, practically every book seems flat and predictable.

i think in the conclave of shadows Puc (pug?) becomes to much of a munchkin and also talon is far to skillful for someone who was randomly found.
other then that i liked the conclaves series and would definately recommend it

I got Amrs' Children from the library. I was only a 7 day loan and it was a busy week (that's my exuse, I'm really a slow reader) so I took it back. I'll wait 'til I can have 3 weeks. Is that a form of discrimination? It's really forcing the slower readers to have to wait.

![]() I was reading that all of his books are basically History books from his D&D type gaming nights that he had in college. These books are set 500 years in the past from his gaming nights. My only problem is that Feist does tend to reuse character types and in fact the most recent book (into a dark realm) we see a return of yet another old character....
