It's a cartoon, but looks good!

Casing for the movie has now been completed with Kiefer Sutherland assuming voicing duties for Raistlin Majere. Sutherland is of course best known as Jack Bauer from TV's "24", however he also has a string of acclaimed movie roles to his credit. Sutherland joins a voice cast which includes Lucy Lawless ("Xena: Warrior Princess") as Goldmoon, Michael Rosenbaum ("Smallville") as Tanis Half-Elven, and Michelle Trachtenberg ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") as Tika Waylan, for the animated movie adaptation of "Dragons of Autumn Twilight".

Other significant roles in the film include:

Fred Tatasciore (Flint Fireforge)
Rino Romano (Caramon Majere)
Jason Marsden (Tasslehoff Burrfoot)
Mark Worden (Sturm Brightblade)

I am glad it is a cartoon, I don't think it would work in film. LOTR's worked because it had so much depth and undertones. The concept art reminds me of the old He-Man, lol. It's be good to see.

Oh I loved them too. Did they ever get home in the end? Yes, I have seen 'em on Disney late at night before, like 2/3 am. I never got why they didn't watch Dungeon Master like a hawk when he appeared. They always seemed to fall for the whole "Look over in the distance, Cavalier" trick, then suddenly "Dungeon Master? Where'd he go?" And no-one ever knew. Not even "Uni" thought to teleport after him. You remeber the 5-headed dragon Shiamat? That was an awesome monster. I recall her appearing on an old classic D&D boxed set too.

This is very Cool! I can't wait to see it! I'm even gonna get my hopes up, although the last few attempts at D&D cinema were, at best, sub-par.

Spiritwarrior- I just got the Huge Tiamat Miniature in the most recent set. One of my favorite D&D bad guys. It needs a better paint job, but represents the 5-headed 'chief of evil dragons' well enough.
